The rechargeable batteries (2XAA 800mah Ni-MH) are good for replacing the batteries in your solar garden lights if they are beginning to dim.

I'm not sure I'd recommend them for anything else though - I get blinking warning lights to indicate "abnormal" batteries if I put them into my regular battery charger!

today I bought a 2 pack of those plastic lids that go over your plate in the microwave. Brilliant if cooking anything tomato or spluttery - saves scrubbing out the microwave ceiling.

    What are the parasol lights?
They are like this except in white. They take 4 AA batteries and clip underneath a parasol (open with a hinge) Photo from eBay.

No Poundland in Bristol would you believe! Nearest is 18 miles away in Weston super Mare. Could do with some of those BBQ's too.

They did have a temp store up to christmas in the centre of town.

There is a 99p store out at Broadwalk shopping centre.

My nearest stores are 25 miles away

Yes, the 99p store is close to me. Will have to have a look for those BBQ's, cant believe they used to be £1.69, now they are £3 in Tesco.

Those parasol lights have camping light on the package in the photo. I hope my local Poundland has them, I need these for when we go camping later in the year and they look ideal. I think they call them UFo lights in the camping world?

Parasol/camping lights. My wife is a carer and just brought 5 sets of these for her clients/punters/old dears. She thought they were a nice little present. I paid for them of course!
Now the rock lights are great but have had some trouble with them, but local branch just changes them.
