Picked up a velvet manicure set, not for everyone & no idea if it's any good but thought I'd try it.

Hi I found a cream coloured 7 inch tablet cover in PL Nottingham yesterday, but only 4 left, not sure if it was old stock as the only pic I can find is on an expired thread, so wondered if anyone else had seen them as I know VfM4meplse and some others were looking for one.

I don't know if anyone has tried the poundland version of oven pride , I bought some at the weekend and I have to say its as good as the branded equivalent , the only thing is that it doesn't come with the gloves ( I use rubber gloves anyway ) and the bottle is smaller . I couldn't find a size on the box or the bottle but it did the main oven , I've bought some more as I figured 2 of them are still cheaper than the oven pride, they had them in Feltham & Staines x

In Trongate, Glasgow they have the CVS Pharmacy-branded moisturisers again (they've been in Poundland before, a while back.. I really like them). This time it's the Deep Foaming Moisturiser with Glucosamine.

"Compare to Olay Definity Deep Penetrating Foaming Moisturiser" it says on the packaging.

Slightly off-topic but here's some great tips about applying crackle polish (not my blog, btw): http://the-lacquerista.blogspot.co.uk/2011/01/tips-and-tricks-masterclass.html

I was talking about the OPI crackles online, to a friend who bought some from Poundland (still not found any :p) and thought it was random..who knew there are certain tips and styles to try!

You can actually apply it in different directions on the nail, as the crackle follows the brush strokes! http://www.emilydenisephotography.com/blog/?p=1463 (not my blog!)
  • There were a few OPI shatter nail varnish left in the smaller PL in Brum city centre
