Diamond_Mon wrote: »Sorry for those of you fed–up with nail stamping post but today my darling sis (DS ??) found a new nail stamping plate number P33, so 6 plates to collect (Allure P33, P21, P31, P48, P32 (French tips)and 1 from Nails with attitude B17 (Konad M20 dupe). Please let me know of any others as I want them all.
I have not seen your previous posting re the nail stamping, but have seen these in store. Are they any good/easy to use? Would appreciate some feedback before buying.
Thanks0 -
Re the venus fly traps. I know it was recommended to buy de-ionised water, but I never found any, no matter how hard I looked.
Anyway, I used Brita water, and I have three lovely shoots looking at me (it's enjoying the hot weather in Glasgow, for once)!0 -
In my local they had essential essence pump bottles of what I'm assuming were leave in conditioner as it only had foreign writing, when I got to the till they couldn't sell it me though, said it had been removed of the shelves and I must of found a stray oneDD1 27/5/1992

Oh no!
I was talking to my mum earlier and we were talking about plants, and she said "they had Venus fly traps in Poundland a few weeks ago, I saw them and thought of you".
But she didn't get me one, and our branch has never had them in!Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
Swansea Oxford St branch have this Cooking with Coco book, £12.15 on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooking-Coco-Family-Recipes-Together/dp/0701184884
I've got this 'cooking with children' cook-book and it's a goodie, although written in a very twee style. Coco is the author's grand-daughter and throughout she refers to 'your Coco' when mentioning a child who might be cooking with you. If you can stop yourself from going  whenever you read this, snap it up!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
The Daily Cook Book in Stratford which seems good.
Finally got the Naked Conditioner and ended up feeling a bit sick after eating too many Fruitella chews!
Will save my Chocolate Orange until tomorrow now! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

I was in Southport today and came across a shop called Pound Empire. They has loads of official olympic games 2012 items such as Royal Doulton mugs in tins, Royal Doulton coasters, Biscuit tins, cake tins in two sizes, and plenty of other things like stuffed toys, fridge magnets and model London taxis etc. These were probably really expensive this time last year. I'm not at all into sport but we liked the mugs so got a couple. Had to laugh though that these Royal Doulton items commemorating the London Olympics are actually made in China . What's that all about, lol. Only Britain could do that! Anyhow, there is a good chance that if this shop had them they will creep into the other chains too (if it is a chain that is).
My wife got some of the Flexitol stuff in the poundland there and apparently there is some of the Stila stuff in Lancaster (or was, she saw it yesterday).0 -
Just spotted this on HUKD.
Terry's All Gold 190g (Milk or Dark Chocolate) http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/terry-s-gold-chocolates-190g-a-1-poundland-1574134
Hopefully I'll be able to find some!0 -
akh43, I have had great results with the nail stamping kits, (once you remove the thin layer of plastic from the disc), suggest you search for Konad tutorials on youtube for help, this website started by some MSE ladies has a thread on stamping with lots of help and advice. http://npaa.forumotion.co.uk/0

At least it's clear plastic, so you have an excuse. I bought a nail stamping kit a few years ago and it took me ages to realise that the BLUE plastic needed to be removed from the plate:oRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
