  • For the frizzy haired amongst us, of which I am one, I bought the Naked hair treatment in a big tub from Poundland. It works brilliantly on my hair, no other conditioner has made it as soft and shiny. I supplement it with a bit of Miracle Oil from Aldi, £3.99 which is also brilliant. Sadly I couldnt find any more Naked stuff in Poundland the other day, felt the need to stock up because it was so good.

I agree bought some of that conditioner my hair is so shiny and soft after using it, I have stocked up on some more today, I also have really thick frizzy hair usually.

I aslo found some of the multibionta probiotic vitamens in my local today boxes of 60! Have been paying alot more than this although I usually buy the vitality ones these are the activate ones but I'm going to give them a go.

I just have a mop and the naked big pot of conditioner works a treat!

4 pack of Terry's chocolate orange bars,
    8 pack of Skips,
    6 pack of Walkers crinkles
3 pack of ham and cheese slices (in the chiller).
I thought for a quid I'd give them a go and have to say I was very surprised the cheese and ham filling was actually quite nice - certainly better than I expected & supermarket equivalents are no better and cost £1.50 for a 2 pack!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Another vote for the Naked conditioner! I'm now onto my 2nd pot, I better slow down with my usage to make it last :D ( I keep using fist size amounts lol)

If you have frizzy hair you could try the 'Curly Girl method', which involves natural (or mild) haircare :)

I've noticed in a few stores that Poundland are stocking Stila stuff again, I saw the face powder refill and some tinted moisturisers.
I remember reading on a blog that these products (that specific packaging) are nearly a decade old and shouldn't be used. Looking on the labels it does say Stila copyright 2006. I have no idea how often copyrights gets renewed but it does look a little suspicious.

If you google 'Stila product Recall Poundland' it comes up as top results:)

I wouldn't worry too much about the recall, it was just a few people deciding that because a product had been made 8 years ago it should be thrown rather than used. I have to say I wouldn't trust it as a sun protector as you can't be sure how it had been stored and that is notoriously heat sensitive, but as make up it will be no different to stuff made last year. Will be searching some more out as both dd and I love it, thanks for the pointer.

That copyright is for that packaging. When the packaging changes, copyright date changes - for the new design.

Thanks, I've always wondered about that! :j

I got some decent plants from Stratford today - echinacea sea holly and aquilegia. Sadly I probably got the last of them as I asked the bloke to open some more boxes and most of them were dead.

Hopefully they will get more in.
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.
