Oh dear. I went to Poundland and bought the Stila powder. Sadly it was shade e (they had about a hundred of them all in that shade) and I could be mistaken for a milk bottle in bad light. I suppose I could go for that look which is far too dark make-up stopping on my jaw line or I could just ditch it. Ah well my boys got Toblerones which they love and these -

Hubby wanted a mini screwdriver set for work, and was looking for one of those little boxed sets, but found this
which it turns out is much more practical.
I managed to find a Stila product my mum would likeThere were a few other Stila products on the shelves, but the shelves they were on were a total state so you'd have had to spend 5 minutes looking through the mess to see if there was anything decent hidden there.
Also got myself the scholl blister plasters, and a tube of Savlon (can't buy it cheaper anywhere else and it works better than shops own brand antiseptic cream).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
^^^^ I bought the hair reviver the other week, it's no more than finely milled baby powder but it does the job.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

we've got a couple of those pen/ screwdrivers they are briliant!!
found a few dove roll on deodrants in my local. Ok prob not a big saving but Dove is the only one that works properly (for me) so whenever I see it at £1 I pick up a few.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
The poundland in Aberdeen had 121g jar of Highlights hot chocolate (for £1). 220g jars are £3.89 in my supermarket so it probably works out about half price.0

For any pale ladies in North Wales, Llandudno has plenty of the Stila 'Pale' tinted moisturiser left. Also some of the whitening powder. They've clearly taken note of this dismal weather and sent the appropriate shade!0

i was tempted to buy the whitening powder because i have quite pale skin, but stopped when i realised it might whiten my skin even more!:j:j:j0

I read up about the angel whitening powder (after buying it!), and supposedly it's made for Asian skin, designed to lighten the skin. So i'm presuming (probably talking rubbish) but i reckon it's a heavier powder to cover skin, so it will still work for paler faces
I'm pretty pasty pale and I bought Shade B which was okay for my tone. It seems that every store just gets sent shades at random in my store we only had Shade B in the powder and Medium in the tinted moisturiser.
Hope I see that hair refresher in soon, wanted to buy it a while ago but it was over £7 quid, on sale.0
