  • I love autobiographies and always pick up bargins in the poundland shops. You just have to keep popping in and having a look every week to see what they have in.

Have found some very good books in the past. Last year got the Nancy Dell'Olio autobiography (hardback) for £1 gave a couple to friends as Christmas gifts - was quite an interesting read. Was in my local branch (Brixton S. London) the other day and noticed autobiographies by Terry Wogan, Sven Goran Ericksson :) and I think that the Lewis Hamilton one was there also. I bought a very nice large hardback coffee table book called The UK At Home originally retailing at £19.99 also for £1 even the cashier was impressed!!

I managed to get Jade Goody's book last week called 'Jade'. Although I do not particular like her all that much, this book is very good and I am surprised at how much I am enjoying it. It was hardback as well. She wrote it just before she died.

    Or shortly thereafter...
