I was really disappointed with the summer flowering bulbs I bought from Poundland, has anyone had any luck? (I know they are only a pound, but I bought quite a few different varieites)A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

I get wonderful displays from the lilies I bought there a few years ago. Year after year they have never failed and get bigger and better every year. I have also had great success with begonia tubers and gloxinia bought there. In fact I never buy my bulbs and tubers anywhere else!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. I have had just one flower so far from all the Poundland summer bulbs I planted this year - still hoping though. However the other plants I bought there at various times (eg seed potatoes, roses, spring bulbs) have been excellent quality for the price.0 -

I bought and planted the 50 stargazer lilies from Poundland this year, they are just starting to flower, and they are lovely - sturdy tall stems, and all of them have grown from the bulbs.0 -

The Union St store in Glasgow has a lot of Original Source shower gel and bubble bath at the moment, I suspect other stores have it too as they seem to have restocked it recently, I love the dragon fruit and capsicum shower gel0

Yes I was in Poundland last week and they had that Shower gel but I didn't get it.. wish I had now!
They had some real bargains. umbrellas .. not sure how great they'd be though! A lipliner and an eyeliner in a pack from Rimmel.. thats 2 for a pound.. they're normally about £3 or more each! I saw a Lowepro camera case for a quid.. thats amazing.. didnt buy it though as my camera is not the ultra compact size which is the only type they had! I couldn't resist a pack of after eights though! lol! Also 3 cans of cherry coke for a quid!0 -
250ml bottles, avail in light and dark tones, in poundland, also had the johnsons summer skin aswell0

In our shop in NI they had 2 for £1 on Johnsons summer skin- face cream - they ususally retail £4/ each.
They also had 5 mini bottle of Johnsons summer skin body lotion for £1 or a big bottle of 250ml for a £1- I have been using them for ages now ever since I got my first one in BM (for £2!- and I though I got a good deal... LOL).
Well, I stocked up on enough gradual fake tan to last me until next summer.
PS- we have cherry coke and vimto etc 4 for a £1 !!!"NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"
