Just back from my local and instore today i saw -

Helen Mirran autobiography, these were just being out out on the shelves.
Durex melts x 2 - these are £3.99 in Boots on special offer.
Durex massage gel - again £3.99 in Boots.
3x flavoured Mates condoms.
F1 annual
Top of the pops book just being put out.

I only went in for the morning fresh washing up liquid which was sold out.

I was in the Hamilton Poundland yesterday, they had some nice twin packs of Revlon make up. A twin pack of lip gloss pots with mini-brushes and a couple of pen style lip glides, they also had metallic eyeshadow. On the left hand side as you go into the store, packaged up with famous brands wrapping. Will be perfect for my daughter's school pals with some hair bobbles and sweets as pressies. They also had Rimmel eyeshadows and Revlon nail polish.

I am tempted to keep the lip glides for myself as they are really good!!!

I got two different types of high school musical books
A make your own scrap book set
Rechargeable batteries two in a pack
These all seemed good bargains to me

In Poundland in Hastings today, I bought a box set of 5 football books for - of course - a pound. The books are:

Kevin Keegan - Michael Hodges
Bestie - The authorized biography of George Best - Joe Lovejoy
Fowler - Robbie Fowler
Playing Extra Time - Alan Ball
David Beckham my son - Ted Beckham

Not the most recent books I grant you but an ideal stocking filler for a nugget. There was one set left in Hastings and I'm guessing they have them in other branches as well.
