I am totally Poundland obsessed now, and have got into a habit where if I need anything I check to see if they sell it in here first.

Over the last few weeks while OH has been under the weather I have bought all our Beechams stuff and Strepsils etc from here, and saved a packet on what we would have normally paid in Boots.

Today, I have bought a wire oven baking sheet (Same one is currently £1.99 in Home Bargains), Cheaper by the Dozen DVD, ICarly Fridge Magnets, an ICarly book, and for xmas (as mentioned on other posts) I bought a couple of chocolate After Eight Santas, and a tub of xmas Hula Hoops (stars as well as hoops) :D
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

I got my daughter a neon pink Christmas tree in the Glasgow branch today. It's really nice, thought it would look really sparse and spindly, but it's nice and full looking :) Popped on the Poundland lights and now her room is looking all festive for her coming in from school :)

I went to the new one in Bristol at the weekend, I got a black christmas tree and some lights for my desk in work, nice and cheap.

The SA gave me £8 change from £5.

Cant complain at that can I?!

NB In my defence, I didnt realise until I got home and looked at my reciept!!

Anyone been in the Aberdeen Poundland lately? Planning on visiting during my lunch hour today - hoping for some nice bargains!

    Bought Rendition DVD today.

    Synopsis (from DVD cover):
"When a man mysteriously vanishes from an overseas flight, his disappearance sends shockwaves all the way to the nation's capital. Desperate for the truth, his wife begins a search for the missing man which leads a CIA unit head and a novice agent into an international web of deceit, conspiracies and top-secret truths far more frightening than the lies that conceal them. An intelligent thriller with intrigue, smarts and a great cast. Rendition stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon, Alan Arkin, Peter Sarsgaard and Meryl Streep."

Thought I'd give it a try. Sounds good.

  • I went today, they had Coleen Rooney style books, good quality shaving creams and after-shave balms (can't remember the make sorry!) nice christmas cups and bowl for children in packs of four, loads of make-up, After Eights (with a maximum of five boxes per customer) After Eight Father Christmas figures, nice selection of scarves.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!
