Hi, newish bootser here
Wondering if the clinique voucher (750 points) is just arriving through the post, round about now? if so, i won't use this, so available to anyone who wants.i also have baby vouchers for any needy person.
Anyhow, just started the bootsy game 2/3 wks ago, and today i used 4200 points for a xmas gift...perfume plus free lotion!! (2 gifts in 1 for !!!!!! all!!!!) I have got a very large box of goodies accumulated for xmas aswell...thanks to all you ladies.
And the best part of all ..i gain points for my everyday toiletries that i would purchase anyhow...such as...deo,sham,cond,shaving products, body lotions, sun creams, instant tanners. JK files have never been in my local boots, in the past few weeks, and yet everything else is in abundance...g peels,ts root, lynx, time delay cheapo. I look in the Jk section but they must be stored somewhere else!!
Anyhow, a big thankyou ladies..i only wish i had stumbled across this before now..curious...how long have you ladies been outwitting Mr boots??
LONG MAY IT LAST...(mr TESCO has pulled the strings on myself and fellow tesco buddies!!!! points are VERY scarce)

One thing I am really pondering buying is clinique products. I got given a card in Boots today showing the clinique gwp and on the card it also mentions going to a counter and they will do a foundation matching thing give your free samples and then if you buy the foundation they give you 7 days worth of the 3 step programme.

So.... what I was thinking was, if I drag me nan along and have her find the foundation she best likes (i dont wear it but she does and is one of things i need to buy 4 her xmas hamper anyway!) she can have the free samples, I could get the blotting sheets for myself, as i actually want them and i can then get the gwp and put it in the xmas hamper for her too?? Or I could get her the no7 foundation (£13.25 I think) and one of those rainbow eyeshadow things that i want get 2 lots of clinique blotting sheets and get both the no7 gwp (will be added to friends xmas hamper) and the clinique gwp (still 4 nans xmas hamper)

arrrghhhh boots I want it all!!!!!

ps am very nonsical so hope it makes sense x

If it helps any, I know it's free, but the 3 step program is pretty rubbish. I mean, the idea's good but most of the products are poorly formulated. The bar soap is really drying to the skin, the clarifying lotions don't exfoliate (except the mild one a bit) and have loooads of alcohol (again except the mild one) which is bad for the skin, particularly of an older lady, and dramatically different moisturising lotion is, well, a really old fashioned, plain moisturiser which isn't going to help the skin enough after using those irritating products. However, it still sells quite well on ebay, so you could get her the foundation (nearly all clinique's are very good) and sell the samples, and get 1x blotting sheets and the clinique GWP. Just an suggestion :)
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

thanks for that palice, will go have a look on ebay now to find out how much roughly the 3 step thing is selling for it might help me weigh it all up. Think I will probably end up getting 2 x blotting sheets and 1 x no 7 foundation 1 x rainbow eyeshadow, will not cost me as much and I will have the 2 gwps too.

If anybody has a spare 750 points thing for Clinique as has been mentioned a couple of times could I please have it? I would be really greatful. I dont have any vouchers to swap though unfortunately as like I said I am new to all this and only have the digital photos till spit and some of the mag coupons. Sorry to be cheeky

Ikkle x

i bought toothpaste in S*$@rdug that does not contain SLS.It cost me 49p for 100ml so it was a good size.its in a white box with purpleish writing.it says Just Toothpaste on it.its just their own cheepy one but you need to get the one in the newer packaging(with purpley/blue writing)as the older one contains SLS.just thought id let you know coz i know the sls free toothpastes are normally really expensive.hope this helps someone.;)

Where is Sevington??? Im just outside Ramsgate. If its any help I got the JK nail files in the city centre Boots. The clearance in Wincheap is quite large. Probably the largest Ive seen with decent reductions. Mind you Im used to one teeny section in Ramsgate. Didnt see the Clinique GWP in Canterbury City Centre (but I wasnt looking to be honest) but they do have the Max Factor Larger GWP. You get the small set with bag and bits in it and also the larger bag with coupons inside for £21 off various products. The spend was £25 to get both. Lady at the Max Factor counter reminded me the coupons run out on the 12th. hth

Could anyone tell me if the Cowley Retail Park Boots just outside Oxford has the Jemma Kidd files/makeup wipes, please? Does it have any decent clearance items?
I have to go to Oxford tomorrow, and if I'm organised I might be able to drop in there :)

Sevington is Ashford, on retail park, sorry I didn't realise that you wasn't familiar with it.
As for city centre I'll be there tomorrow too! I am after the larger MF gwp, so thanks very much!
If there is anything in particular that you are after let me know as I go to Boots most days :rotfl: can tell you if worth the trip (cos about an hour away for you I think) or could pick it up for you or something. Nice to have a fellow Bootser this end of country
