Well just been to boots with my mum and nan and met a dragon of an SA!

Same woman who served me yesterday and let me use the TD mag coupon with till spit but wouldnt let my mum, she said it wouldn't work, i asked her to scan it and see so she did and it did work, then mum had got 2 TS items - long hair shampoo and serum, tried to use mag coupon for this and SA said oh its not working so she deducted an amount, came to £9 odd, I said I dont think thats right can you check it and so she cancelled everything off including the TD mag coupon and refused to rescan it meanwhile my nan was at a diff till buying the same products using the same coupons yet my nan had to pay £3 odd and received 212 points my mum had to pay £9 and got 36 points. Mum was too shy to say anything and seeing as the SA muttered under her breath 'thief' i dont blame her. so i took my mums receipt and my nans receipt and took them to tills at other side of store explained what happened and got given a refund. of £6.

Felt bad for my mum though cos it must have put her off.

Today was my first kind of time getting a good deal at boots!
I needed some make up bits (and new i'd get a r + m voucher after the first transaction) so spent my first spend on some make up which was £12, I got a r & m voucher and £5 skincare voucher, so, bought my r & m foundation that I usually have reduced and a time delay cleanser which was effectively free for me mum. With that purchase, I got another r & m voucher and skincare voucher so I got a r & m cosmetics bag for free (the r & m bags are reduced half price from £8.50 and the vouchers work with them) and another time delay cleanser for free!
If only i'd known and split my first purchase in half *grumbles* , don't think I did too bad for my first time though!
Spent: £22 odd (on products I needed anyway)
Saved: £23 if i'd have bought the products without vouchers.
Plus of course the usual points.

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Just remembered local Sa said a strange thing to me yesterday when she handed over my vouchers she said ''there's your 2 vouchers for spending over £5, you have to choose which one to use. So You either use the skincare one or the no7 one but not both. Yeh right!

East midlands bootsers i didn't get to go to derby today so if anyone sees a reduced night time johnsons gift bag could you get it me please. i can arrange to pick it up or to meet at boots another time.

Thats terrible, I sometimes wonder why Boots send us these coupons, because when we try to use them they dont scan, get the beep, or sa treats you like a thief. Take note Mr Boots

Did she actually make you choose which one you wanted there and then? Either way it's insane, as if Boots would do something that complicated for customers - the majority of whom just bin these vouchers (myself previously having been one of them:eek: ).
