Can I use Paint Shop Pro 8 with Windows Vista?

I have always used Paint Shop Pro and just went to install it on my new laptop to realise that the box doesn't say suitable for Vista. Can I still install it?

If not, are there any decent free photo editing programs for Vista?

I have PSP on my vista but when it when i went to update it ,it then would just hang . It works ok without the update for me .Mines PSP X

if you want free, try paint.net or the gimp with the gimpshop addon

i have paint shop pro 9 and it works fine with vista, but just switches the theme to vista home basic
