The reply said that as they were now out of stock and were sending me an alternative gift, I have e-mailed back to ask what the gift is that is being sent.
Really wanted the throw/blanket do I have to accept whatever they send as a replacement?0 -

Oh no! What a shame. I'll send them an email too.0 -
Hearst are rubbish, supposed to send me a posh skincare thing (forgot the brand), after several months I got a bayliss and harding cheapy bath gift set. Can't sell that on ebay! Won't deal with Hearst again, they lure you in with the promise of luxury gifts and it's all a load of rubbish as they always seem to run out!0

I always find Hearst to be one of the best... do you sign up towards the end of the subscription offer maybe?
Maybe try and get in early...
I find Dennis Publishing to be the worst by far...0 -
The few times I've had an issue with Hearst, it's been when I've waited a while before taking up the offer. I've never had a problem when signing up within the first week or so - they've always been pretty quick, in fact.
Unsurprisingly, there's still no sign of the Country Living blanket.0 -
I was one of the lucky ones then, I received my blanket from Country Living, it's beautiful.
In the past though, I've been told that a particular gift has been out of stock and to choose from a list they gave. Very frustrating.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
I don't really mind it being unavailable - I knew signing up late was a gamble - but I wish they wouldn't make me wait 28 working days before looking into it if they know it's out of stock.0

So, I was told by Hearst earlier this month that the delay with the blanket was a now rectified issue with their suppliers, and that my gift would be sent out asap. And this morning I've received a box of what I can only describe as random crap instead.0 -
