About the 3 for £3 offer for F1 mag and free t shirt

I signed up for this and the confirmation email said: Your 3 issues will be followed by Direct Debit payments of just £22.99 every 6 subsequent issues (saving you a further 22% on the cover price), upon which you will also receive a FREE Mclaren technical t-shirt (size M,L,XL).


I emailed them to check if the t shirt is sent after the £3 debit or after the subsequent payment of £22.99 and the reply was that it would be sent once payment for the next term of 6 issues has been collected.


Just thought I'd warn others who have taken this offer out (I'm cancelling mine) as it is not as initially advertised...you have to pay the extra £22.99 to get the gift.

I chased my Cosmo gift the other day, and was told: "I can confirm your free gift has been ordered for you and was despatched on the 26/01/2015, please allow up to 28 working days for receipt." I know it's fairly standard, but 28 working days is SO LONG.

Quite impressed with my Tatler sub so far - the soap gift came within two weeks, and it seems the mag comes with free gifts too. My first issue has ESPA cleanser (15ml) and serum (4ml), plus a £20 voucher to spend online (although P&P is £4.95).

Have also received my Elemis bath milk, another great deal.

I'm just waiting for the Charles Worthington Hair Care set from Cosmo and the Emma Bridgewater vase and tea towel from Country Living now I think.

ETA: Spoke too soon, the vase just arrived. Very cute.
