Got my first (and last) issue of Zest today. They're swapping subscriptions over to Women's Health, it seems.

  • Hi all,

I emailed glamour about the body shop gift. Here's the response:

Thank you for your recent email.

I am very sorry to read that you have been experiencing problems with the delay of your subscription gift.

Unfortunately there is currently a delay on the stock deliveries, which is out of our control. However, once the stock arrives, your gift will be despatched as a priority.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. Should you wish to get in touch to discuss the matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Thank you

yes very easy. You just cancel the DD with the bank and then phone and cancel the magazine. Be aware you need to do it in very good time- the magazine industry seems to work more than a month in advance. If you are subscribing on the phone you could say "Well, if I decide I don't like the magazine and want to cancel the subscription for future payments when should I do that?"

I'm sure people cancel all the time- of course they are hoping that you can't be bothered and the subscription will roll on for infinity!!

I've just received the last issue on a year's subscription to InStyle and haven't received any cover gifts over the past year.

So I assume they don't send them.
