Water damaged chipboard - hardener available?

Options
I’ve had a leak in my bathroom and it’s not been noticed until recently (not high flow, just drips from the shower). The result is the chipboard floor under the bath and into the landing area has gone soft and crumbly. The load points for the bath are fine, however there are sections of floor where it’s just soft. Is there anything I can get to treat this and harden it up? I really don’t want to have to start replacing floor boards as they span into different rooms in the board sections.

Thanks…

Short answer NO. Sorry but you will be best to replace. This may not be as bad as you think. Before we can help we need to some more info. I would try to cut the bad chip board away back to some good stuff. If you try to cut to the center of your joists you can put new stuff back. If you support the joint between the joists you will be ok.

Sorry if this is not what you want to here but bad chip board needs cutting out.
