Could you recommend a dvd player program to download?

What Operating System are you running? E.g. Windows XP?
TRy downloading Windows Media Player 10 which plays DVDs easily. It's free and available from https://www.microsoft.com.

You should be able to uninstall the one version without affecting the other, but you might as well uninstall both because the latest version is Update 5. Get it here.catch22 wrote:...can I delete the following; J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2 - as I also have - J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4.
There's more than one way to play DVDs from different regions. Y'can find out about some of them here.catch22 wrote:Is there a way in which to play dvds from all zones?0 -
Microsoft are legally not allowed to ship XP with DVD software. This is to allow smaller companies to compete in the DVD software development market.
That said, if you install any of the 'suggested above' DVD codex, Windows Media Player can play DVDs. Just remember you need to reinstall the extra stuff everytime you reformat.
Hope this helps.0
