Can anyone help me. I want to give my parents a frame with a handprint of my daughter in it. They had somebody doing them in John Lewis but they started at 50 quid!!
The kits you can buy are also a bit pricey so thought I could do it myself. I've found a place that sells the right ceramic modleing clay but am strugling to find a supplier of cheap 12inch by 6inch box frames.
You know the extra deep frames, see here if you don't get what I'm on about

Any ideas??????

I did find some small (about photo size) frames at Ikea, they were about 3 inches deep. I put baby memorabilia in and they looked great. Can't remember what they were called (all weird names) or how much, but only a couple of pounds.0

Do you have any local picture framers who could knock one up for you at much less than what John Lewis were wanting to charge. We recently got some 9x12 "normal" pictures framed and they only cost us £8 each, cant see a smaller box frame costing much more. There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0

You could have a look at somewhere like Snappy Snaps or ART on the High Street....I bought some lovely frames a few months ago and they were 3 for 2.
Tesco and Asda sometimes have gift type pictures in a box frame - if you can't find just a frame it may be almost as cheap to buy their predone picture but take their picture out and use the frame.
