Camcorder help please

Hi,
Im thinking of buying a new camcorder . I can get it for £116 from a trade place that I use. I think Tesco etc sell them for about £250. Samsung vp d101.
I have looked on google and cannot find a review. Is this any good? I realise its not the latest thing but will it be ok?
Is it a good spec? (link below)

My personal opinion: stick with the known brands...I did a lot of research couple of years ago and 2 brands stood out: Panasonic and Sony.
I would avoid Canon and JVC...can't say much anout Samsung.0 -
