Tip for anyone buying new carpet

I think it would be an industrial product as I've recently done an internet search for some washable dirt trapper mats similar to Turtlemats & found some places selling industrial matting similar to what you mention. Unfortunately I can't remember any of the sites I visited.
If you search using such terms as entrance mats, barrier mats, dirt trap mats, you may find what you're looking for.
The health centre I visit have one of these fitted ribbed entrance mats. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I actually get a free carpet sample and a £100 voucher to spend at Love Carpet by using their Google Adwords ad (lovecarpet.co.uk/100c.php)
I think you have to be careful buying a carpet online however, if you can get a free sample ..happy days.
I had to laugh at GazFaz comment on skintc i think they walked straight into that0 -
We're looking at putting in cheap carpet in our flat – it's about 50 msq in total. The living room is a bit of a bowling alley at 3x10m. I'd rather buy all the carpet/underlay myself and then get someone else to fit it but I'm slightly concerned about doing the wrong measurements if the room is at a very slight angle? Any tips for measuring up?
