Alliance and Leicester / Overdraft problems

Hi guys,
I currently have a £2,000 overdraft with LloydsTSB, that I'm hitting about £1800 with every month, I'm paying about £20 per month interest on it.
I recently applied to the A&L for their 0% overdraft, and they're currently halfway through transferring my account over, but I've just discovered that are ABSOLUTELY useless customer service wise and there is no way I want to go through with the account swap now.
Can I cancel halfway through? They've already sent me a debit card and chequebook.
Also, what's the best way of clearing this overdraft so I'm not incurring any more charges? 0% Credit card?
Thanks,
T

Yes you can cancel. Brave the call centre once more and ask for someone in the Switching service to unsubscribe. I've done the same thing myself just today and gone back to my original Natwest account. A&L kept adding extra conditions before they'd match my overdraft (£500 per month, 3 deposits a month AND at least 3 days without using the overdraft limit in the month immediately prior to your application) then managed to lose the documentation I hand delivered to the local branch so it could be faxed to the switching department. 0% credit card sounds about right or consolidate the debt in a personal loan if you can find one with a lower interest rate that what you are already paying. If you think reality makes sense, you're just not paying attention!0
