I still wonder how people manage to win multiple prizes on that flipping Impulse thingie when I didn't win a sausage! I entered religiously every day too.

Yep, I entered every day on that but 'only' won a download. Doesn't bother me though, would be nice to win something bigger, I've been very lucky since I started comping to win some major goodies, but I believe another 'biggie' will come!
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

I entered the Impulse and Virgin Vie ones each day and was REALLY pleased with the wins! :j

But usually I win nuffink on the daily ones  ........not a sausage from Glamour, ages before I won anything at all on Virgin-Vie (and never got a cash amount all) - never got the batteries or compass etc. Nothing on the Bacardi one etc.

Strange how sometimes we have zilch and sometimes loads.......but that's just the random nature of draws I suppose
October 2008 wins - £250 Red Letter Day, Taken Tshirt, cap & memory stick, Strongbow magnets & glasses, Peroni Bowls & bottle openers, Fogarty duvet & pillow, Horrid Henry book, trip to Disney Paris for 7 and a week of Galaxy car hire, £100 Ocado voucher, Nivea face cream, Ambipure air fresheners, DS game
  • I've won trident gum twice, but I've only ever entered once, so I think they just keep all names in each monthly draw. :D)

I have thought the same thing myself - On some winners posts they have won multiple items i.e 4 ipods, 6 vouchers etc. From the sound of the posts in text competitions where you are only allowed to enter once a day they are doing so using multiple sim cards. I also think that once you have won once in a certain competition you shouldn't be able to win again.

I entered the Impulse comp every day (in the hope of a hamper :D ) and only won 1 MP3 download.

I also entered the recent daily Glamour comp religiously as well (at 8am!) and only won a Rimmel nail polish  . I think that the Glamour comp was a bit strange though because there were posts from people who said they entered at, say, 8.15am some days and still managed to win, and others who entered twice (for them and OH etc) and managed to win in both names, yet people who entered just once at 8am (moi!!) didn't win. I suppose each comp has it's own system of picking winners and some are just luckier than others. Good luck to them, my run of multiple wins is just around the corner :D

But I carry on entering regardless as, IMO, you have to be in it to have a chance so I will just try, try and try again!! :D
If at first you don't succeed ........ ;) Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Weird, isn't it? I've never won on any of the instant win comps. Guess some people have all the luck. (Or maybe just the patience!)
