Coin Bags

Hi there. Does anyone know how many coin bags can be paid into a Lloyds current account at any one time?? And if it would be more if I have 3 current accounts with them??? Thankyou :o

As far as I know there's no limit.

  • I once deposited £500 in £1 coins (25 bags) for mum with no problems.

Nationwide was alot fussier only allowing 5 bags max.

To be on the safe side I would ask when the best time to take them in would be.
I don't think you would be popular taking them in on the busiest day of the week at lunchtime say!

  • Most of the big banks will weigh them, so it won't take too long. The post office weighs them too, just make sure each bag has the same type of coin in it.

I believe the only "fussy" places are Nationwide and Halifax who will only take 5 per person per day.
