hAVe you installed property bee. Ive also been keeping an eye on tower hamlets and I would say prices ARE dropping. We were looking at 3 bed ex la maisionettes ( better estates around bow/ stepney) and last year they were around 279/ 299.
Now Look - 195 for a 2 bed with garden. Thats almost 100k drop in the last year in ASKING PRICES. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-18674842.rsp?pa_n=5&tr_t=buy When I was ringing last year to make appointments they had all sold when I rang. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
1. It's on for 290k with a 35k discount if you complete within 30 days. I have a few concerns over this, mainly being i dont think it's worth 290k and i'm not sure a survey will either.
£290k for a 1 bed flat in Tower Hamlets is just completely insane, in my opinion. And new build just makes it worse!
You say you would prefer a 2/3 bed, but don't want to be a long way out. Have you considered renting? On a mortgage, interest-only, you'd be paying about £300 a week. You could rent a 2 bed flat in a nicer, central, area for less than that.
