driving along just coming upto a gatso facing towards me and the line markings are on the other side of the road and not on the road i was driving....as i come upto the gatso it flashed twice and i was doing 30mph coz i looked on the speedo.....from what i have heard gatso can only take a rear picture not a forward pic unless the gatso is in the middle of the road...


any help would be great

Sounds like nothing to worry about. Probably a faulty camera.

are you sure it wasa gatso? it coudl have been a truvelo which is a front facing camera.

no not one of them...it was a standard gatso as i always drive past it everyday and the line markings are on that side of the road not the side i was driving.

Do truvelos flash? (We don't have themso haven't much experience of them but I don't think they flash)

With a fixed gatso the road markings have to be in place so if there are none on the side of the road you were using I'd forget about it.

GATSOs are only type approved to be used as evidence when a vehicle drives away from them, not toward.

And Truvelos flash.

Truvelos have two round lens this gatso has the square lens.....hopefuly should be okay
