I may or may not be going into Edinburgh which will cost me money either for parking or train ticket (parking will be cheaper in this case, but would have o get petrol... too hard!!)

I commute to Edinburgh daily for work.
A tip for everyone who would like to travel to Edinburgh, especially just now.
Drive to the end of the M8 and take the signs for the park and ride. The bus into town only costs £1.10 each way and the parking is free.
You won't be able to get parked in the City, and even if you did it would cost upwards of £10 in parking.
I do recommend taking in the atmosphere of the festival though. It really is something special even if you only see the royal mile.

That is really good, KT. In Bath, it can cost up to £2.80 single, per person, from the Uni 'park and ride' - I forget if you also pay for the parking - I think yes, but as it was such a 'rip off' I only used it the once, then stopped going into Bath.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Hi everyone!
Lots of NSDs on the thread yesterday and today, yay!
Next few days are going to be difficult - going on a weekend break with a group of friends from Thursday onwards and every day from Thursday until Monday is going to be an expensive spends day, unless I don't eat/drink  . On the one hand I feel really guilty for spending money, and on the other hand I haven't seen these friends for a couple of months and I haven't been on a weekend away with them for years.
Sorry, I'll stop rambling. I only came on to say I've had an NSD! 4th this month!0 -

You enjoy your weekend break. Don't worry about 'expensive spending days' - I'm sure you will look at your spends from a newly acquired DFW perspective. It might, even, impress your friends. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser.
