Daily Chat Thread *4th August*

Has no one started one yet!!

At work today after the weekend. Woke up in a half motivated mood and decided to try and follow the fly lady challenge for the whole of August. Today is Monday Meleee...

I have managed one job off the list so far - no I lie, two! I have cleaned a window sill and wiped the kitchen table..:rotfl: I am hoping I won't be too knackered after work to do the rest.

This is the list if anyone wants it:

Monday Melee - Kitchen and dining room

Level One
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Clear and clean 1 window sill

Level Two
Sweep and mop floors
Scrub out stick fridge
Wipe dining table

Level Three
Dust furniture in dining area, check for cobwebs etc
Wipe and replace small appliances
Clean cupboard fronts
Clean out mankiest cupboard

Extra Mission (if you aren't dead yet!)
Clean Hob
Wipe down tiles and taps
32 fling boogie
Empty bin and wash it out and make it smell nice!

Yes DD had a good birthday in the end. Was DS birthday yesterday - he was 20 - he was out till 5am and when I picked him up at 2.30pm to bring him for his dinner he was drunk as he had carried on drinking.

His girlfriend wasn't well either!! OH well, I am I sound like I have dragged a load of drunken children up!!

To be honest, I am glad its Monday again!

Morning - just came to have a peep at your list Sammy - good luck with it. Monday is my 'kitchen and dining room' day too, so I will be doing most of those at some point through the day.

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Every bloody day is my kitchen and dining room day

I've got my step daughter coming to stay today which is nice because we've not seen her for a few weeks. It also means I have hubby home for 2 days, seems ages since he was here for so long :D I can't moan though, it's not as if I'm working too much at the moment so someone needs to be earning the chocolate money.

how weird - clean hob is on 'extra mission' - I'd have thought that would be a level 1/everyday kind of job?

I should be AQA'ing but I haven't started yet. Knackered myself out yesterday working all afternoon. Did just over £60 yesterday which is good but it leaves me knackered brain wise the next day!

Trying to start to think about OH's birthday in October, 50th. Had a quick word with his DS last week and apparently OH's Dad wants to arrange a surprise 'something' but nothing else known, so will hold off arranging anything for on his birthday until I know more. I was thinking of a few days away at the end of October perhaps.
