What time does money go in??

Lloyds is done soon after midnight. HSBC a lot later, I usually check HSBC the next morning (or later on in the morning whichever way you see it).
If it helps-you can always call HSBC telephone banking the day before and it will show on the internal statement that the adviser has access to-if you're ever worried about money crediting. They can only see 24hrs before it is due to credit-it is subject to change but in 5yrs they have never let me down yet!
Just an idea for you all!!Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!
As D'Ream would sing 'Things.....can only get better'!!!0 -
I'm aware that's true with FD (part of HSBC) and BACS 'Direct Credit' salary payments (just found out last month). Is it the same for BACS 'Transfers'? And is it the same in general, ie for all banks?Scousebird wrote: »They can only see 24hrs before it is due to credit-it is subject to change but in 5yrs they have never let me down yet!

Well, the company in question (who are normally ultra reliable) say they paid it from their end on Thursday, so it should hit my account by close of business today - which it hasn't. Think it is a BACS payment.
Somebody reassure me it will arrive at midnight?!0 -
You might like to ask the payer to confirm to you the bank details actually provided on the payment - to make sure it is correct. Technically you should have had the money in your account yesterday (Monday) and even if this was held for day prior to payment then you should have received it this morning...Well, the company in question (who are normally ultra reliable) say they paid it from their end on Thursday, so it should hit my account by close of business today - which it hasn't. Somebody reassure me it will arrive at midnight?!.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
If they did it after 6pm on Thursday or whatever it most probably rolled over to Fri so should get to you by today or tomorrow! Although I would have thought today. I would check if I were you!!0

I would like to definitively clarify that Barclays money goes in at or around 1am, not midnight!
