Renewing car insurance with Quidco

I am currently insured with the Prudential for my car insurance. If I renew with Prudential through Quidco as opposed to directly with the Pru,will it track or be invalid for payout.
I thought last year there was a note on the site for new business, not renewals. I can't see it this year.
any ideas.
