M&S vs ASDA

in Credit cards
I'm hoping one of you nice people may be able to help me. I spend probably in the region of £300 per month on my CC, always clear the balance in full. Up until now I've been using my ASDA credit card, which I took out because of the 2p per litre reduction on petrol WYB at ASDA filling stations & pay with ASDA card. However I've recently taken out a M&S &more card, mainly because I want the freebie points vouchers they send every so often, as I love M&S. Plan is to keep paying for petrol with the ASDA card, spend in M&S with the M&S card.
But I can't work out which I get most back from with my day-to-day purchases. I know M&S you get 1 point per £2 spend outside M&S, 1 point per £1 spend in M&S, and I think 1 point = 1p. But I can't find the info anywhere that tells me what I earn in ASDA points per £1 spend, and the value of each point, so can't work out which card I'm better off sepnding on if I'm spending outside M&S and outside ASDA.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Julie

Hi Julie,
I was wondering this exact thing too and and couldn't find anything either, so I gave the helpline a ring,
The lady on the helpline explained that for every £4 you spend you get 2 points. This is on a per transaction basis so if you only spend £3 you get zero points on that transaction.
Also the points only apply to non-petrol purchases. Which is pretty much the main use for my card
Hope this helps
