Calling chocolate lovers!! - Hotel Chocolat end of season selection

I got 2 boxes both had the same contents.
lucky dip 2 slabs of chocolate, both milk (i think)
amaretto & apricot
Simply Cocoa
Grapefruit flavoured white choc topped with crystalised ginger (ewww)
fruit & nut canapes (delicious)

Quite gutted now lol I love marzipan & would have loved a box with that in.
Ahh well. I also got a giant slab of cookies & caramel that was on offer.

It wasn't available in store - not the Norwich store anyway. They didn't have any reduced items this week, nor when the offer first started about a month ago. I don't think it gives the store the impression they are trying to create. I certainly wouldn't have bought the 2 packs that I bought had I initially seen what was in them (the vodka and fig were yuck, so were the dark champagne truffles, I also got a sour cherry chocolate block which was bearable but not something I would have chosen had I seen it instore!).

I got almost the same but 1 kids choc and 1 plain choc slab.

I didnt get the marzipan tho???

All very nice but I dont like white chocolate. I would have loved the champagne truffles - my favourites!!

My box identical to yours. Emailed them a few hours ago as I didn't feel it was balanced-2 coffees, 1 fruit and what is it that's always left at the bottom of the roses tin? A feel a few pressies coming on...

one marzipan bar

I didn't realise I'd cause so much controversy with the marzipan

One of the girls at work said it was like a battenburg covered in chocolate. Personally I thought it had too much of an alcoholic aftertaste.

The cappuccino truffles are delicious though. Anyone else think the kid's bars are way too thick? Made me feel a little sick...

OT, but mini-battenberg cakes with dark chocolate coating are gorgeous
