    It's so easy! Why not learn in the winter lots of how to details on knitting websites.

    This was posted on here a while ago as that's where I found it. :)

    Don't worry about not being able to knit Ellie - I only taught myself a couple of months ago and this bear was the first pattern I knitted. I did him a little more multi-coloured than the original and my neice loves him.

    Just thought it was worth mentioning that there are *loads* of other free patterns on the same site. I'm currently knitting lots of pentagons to make the woolly ball as a new baby present for a friend: http://www.knitting-and.com/knitting/patterns/toys/woollyball.htm - nice and moneysaving! :D
