    Thanks for that chattycathyuk. I was about to withdraw all my money from A+L as I also have an ISA with Abbey which with the takeover would have put me way over the FSCS limit. Looks like there's no need now until we are informed otherwise.

    me too!!! i have 26k in this bank which is my life saving! i really dont know what to do!
