    no - you can only use them for purchases from Amazon.co.uk themselves and not any of their market place sellers if you are not sure - post a link to the item you want to buy and someone will tell you - or just try buying it BUT DON'T CONFIRM THE ORDER and see if the gift certificate amount is taken off the balance. The gift certificate woill then be stored in your account for future use - so don't try this if you want to give it away or sell it instead
