Unique scenario - potential fraud?

i've recently decided to abandon my naïve childish ways & take control of my finances, affairs & life. I've scheduled a meeting with the bank manager of my local yorkshire bank for this week, but i have a problem..
My passport & birth cirtificate have my middle name & 1st name the wrong way round, which has caused many problems.
eg. 'Richard Phillip Jackson'* is 'Phillip Richard Jackson'* on my passport.
All my accounts, electoral roll, school, university, trust fund, national insurance etc. (basically everything set up by my parents) is in my actual name 'Richard Jackson'*
but everything that i've set up myself, in person and have had to use my passport as proof to secure, is in the name on my passport 'Phillip Jackson'*
which, as you can imagine is causing a hell of alot of problems. when i apply for credit, i dont know what to put down. i put down both, but am worried that this is being flagged as fraud.
ultimately, my passport & birth cirtificates arent wrong. Those are the names that my parents put down. But my parents have refer to me as & have registered me to every other organisation using the other name.
I suspect that I have 2 seperate credit reports/ratings
I'm 22 and just finished uni. in the past few years, i've not been all that bothered or concerned about fraud etc. so just used which ever name the organisation would allow me.
My real name 1st, then if they say they must go by what it says in my passport, then i go with that name.
is it possible to consolidate both names?
Have I committed fraud?
I've found it difficult to get hold of my credit reports (naturally I dont know which name to use in the search).
This really is all my idiot parents fault.
Or.. would credit agencies & banks see the similarity with both names, histories, DOB's etc and know that both names are one & the same?

This is really nothing to do with fraud but I would take this opportunity to sort it out and you need to go with what is on your passport. Your bank will be quite happy to put down on your cheque book for instance P. Richard Jackson and there is no problem about you signing as just Richard Jackson if that is your normal signature.
You would run into difficulties if travelling abroad and your passport says one thing and you get your tickets in a different name so get used to using the "correct" names now.0 -
Check your credit files, you will most probably be listed as having an alias, it will cause you problems on automated underwriting and if I were you I would add a notice of correction to your credit files if this is the case because to an underwriter be it automated or a human it look's dodgy.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
