Conservatory

We are thinking about having a conservatory built to give us a bit more space/get away from kids! We would particularly like it to have a glazed roof rather than polycarbonate so it seems the usual Wickes/B&Q DIY options are ruled out.

Does anybody know of any alternatives to the big double glazing companies? My OH is happy to do the base/block walls but were quoted last year nearly £7000 for the top. This seemed too much so we forgot this and put house on market with a view to moving. Now given up on that and back to plan a.

Are there any alternatives to the Anglian/Europlas type of route that seem better value for money?

Many thanks in anticipation

Helen

Sorry, just realised this is in the wrong place! Anybody know how to move it to somewhere more appropriate?
