Wot No Motoring Section??

Due the the enormous proportion of one's income that goes on motoring (puts one's utility & phone bills in the shade for instance) and the varied ways one can save money, this site is curiously lacking in this dept! I'm sure that MoneySavingExperts have loads of knowledge.
Suggested subtopics would be:
- Best discounted new car buying places
- Servicing & repairs, Dealer network or local mechanic or independent specialist co?
- Accurate knowledge of the Tax Disc categories and Insurance Bands
- Everyone needs to know about depreciation by brand (tables?)
- Spare parts sources
- Moneysaving DIY on the car
- Which dealer techniques to watch out for
- Generic parts vs branded, the knowledge
- Tyres, big savings if you know what to do
- Are those new cheap Asian brands up to it?
I have seen posts scattered about - but they could maybe be organised into one section.
There is always the risk that this becomes a mechanics talking shop, but it could hopefully be kept around the central theme of money saving!
