Just a quick clarification please. Have a cash mini-ISA with A&L and fully paid for this year, rateis 5.15% (don't shout, I opened it before the rate closed so no you cant get this now but it is still open to existing customers!)
Just wanted to make sure not missing a better offer elsewhere?

Think most cash mini-ISA's are now at or below 5.00%. Any that are above seem to have a 6 month bonus and then drop rate.
I myself have the A+L Direct ISA @ 5.15% and am staying put.0 -
By existing customers do you mean someone who already has a mini cash isa with A&L or just someone who is a customer of A&L with other products?0

I have the Abbey postal ISA at 5.35% - any idea if my rate would have changed now, or do I get the benefit of the same rate, by virtue of having opened it earlier? It's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!0

No. it's dropped it's rate. I had the Abbey Postal Issue 1 at 5.35%, I think it dropped to 4.85%??, so I've moved on to Halifax 5%, taking with it the ISAs with First Direct which also dropped.0

Abbey Postal ISA (Issue 1) is 4.90% AER0

I too have the Abbey ISA that dropped from 5.35% to 4.9%. Given that the next best rate is 5% is it worth switching considering any interest lost during the change over period?0

They do! This was the smoothest operation ever involving the Halifax. 10/10 in this case, so credit where it is due!0 -
How have we managed to wonder from the initial question posed in this thread please?0
