New AA savings internet account 6.28%

I have an AA internet account already opened its only getting 5.37%.

(although there are better accounts out there I have been very happy with the customer service they have provided me)

I now see a new issue offering 6.28%.

Ive worked out if i change to the new issue ill get an extra £267.99 over a year.

Does anyone know how easy it is to change accounts? or to transfer the money? Will i have to transfer to my linked bank account first then back to the new AA account once opened?

This new account doesnt allow the intrest to go back into the account so ill keep the exsisting one open for the intrest to go into (you can do that or have it go into your linked account)

All thoughts welcome

It was easy to change, unlike the ing bank this is not just for new customers. They where happy to switch me to the new account straight away on the phone with all details etc staying the same.

Hats off to the AA

  • Me too - all easily swapped to new higher rate account on phone.

Thanks polomint for reminding me I still had £1 in AA. Now, with a better rate, they can have a bit more!

    Well done AA :T
