DG834GT and WG111T Problems

I recently got the DG834GT/WG111T combo from Amazon on the special/misprice. I was initially very happy...until I setup the hardware.
Was just wondering if anyone else has been suffering from problems. The main two for me are:
1) The WG111T seems to lock up my system, and I can't even Shut Down, it requires a soft reset.
2) The DG834GT just refuses to allow wireless connections. It happens every so often, and I have to reboot the router. Note, it works fine for the computer I have wired up to it.
I've been reading around, especially on the Netgear forums. I didn't realise how many people are having problems with recent Netgear products. The common problems either seem to be due to overheating or buggy firmware.
Anyone had similar experiences, or got any thoughts...

make sure you have the latest firmware on it and also the latest s/w for the wg111t.
i had a non t version with no problems but i got the t version cheap but had probs so ended up going back to the non t version0 -
Yep, tried the official .28 firmware. It was incredibly buggy, I'd lose wireless connectivity every 30mins or so.
So, I tried the .30 firmware (beta) which their support will send you upon request. It hasn't been much different to be honest.
I'm also trying the router at b+g wireless speeds, rather than Auto 108mbps.
I'll keep looking. The older "g" (not "gt") version used different chips (well v1 did, I don't think v2 did) and it works fine from what I've read. Must be something to do with the new chips, and firmware for those chips."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
