1.29GB AVI to 8cm DVD

I recorded some footage on my Panasonic camcorder on a DVDRAM disc. It recorded it in a strage format that will only play on Panasonic equiptment or the PC. I want to watch it elsewhere.

I have managed to convert it to AVI (and .mpg and .ts). Usually I would use convertxtodvd to convrt it from AVI to DVD, it has convrted it without a problem and is still only 1.29GB but it wont burn it to an 8cm DVD=R and neither will Nero. I don't know what the problem is.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get this to be a normal DVD please?

I have downloaded this - http://www.squared5.com/ - which a friend suggested which made it from AVI to the other 2 formats... I can't even remember how I got th file to AVI to start with. I'm not sure if that program will do what I want it to.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Nero do you have i have Nero8 and with this it should convert AVI to DVD using Nero Vision.
Alternatively try Cucusoft Avi to DVD converter. Do a google search and i am sure you will find it.

    Hope this helps a little

  • I do have Nero 8. I just tried it quickly but it seems too big to fit to the disc.

I'll spend more time on it at the weekend.
