Livebox Query?

Hi,

Please bear with me if I seem a bit dim about all this but I really do feel as though I'm going nuts with this livebox.

I have a livebox that is successfully connected to my main desktop by a wired connection - no problem there.

I have a second desktop in my daughter's room that we would also like to connect to the internet (hopefully by using the livebox).

Today I bought a Belkin Wireless G+ USB Adapter (that's what the guy in the shop said would work).

I've installed the Belkin and can't seem to pick up the network on it - should I be doing something else?

I am now going to sit in a corner and cry. All suggestions most gratefully pounced on - I've read throught the wireless 'sticky' and can't find the answer there.

with the livebox you have to put it in pairing mode. Press button 1 on the back and the end light will flash. you should then be able to connect to the network.
