Hiya
I really hope someone can help me out here.
Im looking at this course, and Im really interested, but I cannot for the life of me work out how it works or what the costs would be.
I have a ba in Politics, and 360 credits (iirc) from the OU from social work course uncompleted practical module due to illness. Im hopeful that my previous qualifications and my work experience would lead them to consider that I could go onto the grad scheme. However, I know the OU can be sticklers about transferring credits.
Anyway, if anyone out there is doing/ has done / is considering this course Id love to hear your views on it, and how much its costing!
thanks

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

First of all make sure the course is accredited by the RTPI, if it's not you won't be able to become a chartered planner.
I don't really know much about the OU and transferring credits, sorry.0 -
If you already have a first degree then you should probably look at doing a one year MA.
I'm not very up-to-date but I think it still considered that there is a shortage of planners (especially in London) so you may be able get a maintenance grant and have your fees paid.
Check out the RTPI site and make sure that any course you do is affiliated to them
