For y/e 18/11/05 I paid R &S Alliance £147 for contents and buildings. Apparently they have deciced not to participate in the holiday home insurance market and I have been notified to find myself another insurer (after 7 years no claim since new). Halifax have just quoted me £229.
Any advice on where I might find a quote closer to £147?
NB my holiday home is in Northern Ireland.
