I just returned from all inclusive in Spain and it was brilliant. Well worth the extra money. We stayed in the Hotel till midnight each night with all the other guests then we all left and went on to the nightclubs. Didnt need to drink at all in the clubs as we had enough in the Hotel. Its great laying by the pool in the Hotel and being able to have free ice cream, lollies and soft drinks and alcohol if you wish. I would go all inclusive at that priceCompetitions wins 2010

I've just been on one too and reckon it was worth the money - good food and hassle free but I missed the fun of deciding where to go for dinner... it's great if you are watching the pennies though.Mortgage OP 2025 £7500/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Tennerife is in euro land - the exchange rate is terrible which means eating and drinking out is expensive. You can bank on about £3 to £3.50 for a glass of wine in a bar at the moment. A cup of coffee will set you back around £2.50. A large bottle of coke in a supermarket will probably be around £1,50. Then there's lunches and evening meals.
At those prices the all-inclusive option is a great deal, even if you choose to eat out occasionally. I'd go for it!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
We had our first All Inclusive this and to be honest do not think I would do anything else form now on. we did check the reviews for the hotel beforehand and they were all good, was a 4* hotel and food was ok but where we noticed the difference was the drinks. I do not drink alcohol but even for getting soft drinks as and when I wanted them and hubby getting his alcohol was great.
Also as someone else pointed out not having to carry money about the hotel has it's advantages.
Check out the hotel reviews only but if only £100 extra I would say go for it.
We went for a week in turkey and ate out for 2 evening meals and one breakfast while there and went on a few trips etc and spent very little moneyTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0
