  • my local asda is not a super store and we have them.lots of customers very surprised when they have been going through at £1. i like looking at thier faces as they watch them being scanned and then looking at the price. anyway i think it is only the tuna in brine and not the tuna in oil, so maybe some of you have been picking the wrong ones up??!!

I only buy the tuna in brine so it wasn't that. They didn't know anything about an offer at all so it must only be in a few selected stores :(
  • When I went in today ASDA were selling 6 packs of 185g size tins of tuna for £1

    Check out your local.

Where's your Asda? as this seems regional.

Great offer but have you tasted it? i tried it for the first time 2 weeks ago.I know it sounds stupid but it tastes really really fishy(my cat didnt even want it!) . As i say, dont want to ruin your post £1 is a bargain!
  • There is an awful lot of this tuna in North Swindon Asda. As one of the other posters mentioned Huddersfield, this seems to indicate it's not regional, but obviously not universal!

Hope this helps. Not v. useful for me as I don't eat fish!
  • My local Asda (Small Heath) had loads of it. I didnt buy any as I dont like the smell of the stuff!

My local Asda in Blyth, Northumberland have lots of these special packs of tuna and beans (sell by date August 2008). They are situated near the entrance where the greeter stands.
