Or 4 tins of Heinz beans, same price.

hi, is this supposed to be nationwide because I looked in asda this morning and this was still at the normal price. thanks0

Moonshine did you check the price at a till or CS?
These were in a big pile on shop floor together with beans ( half and half) and a £1 sign in the middle.
I would assume it is storewide and that they havent got round to altering shelf prices  as they will only have to put them back when offer ends.
There were so many people looking then putting them back as they thought it was a mis-price, but it wasnt!!!
I must admit I was surprised at the till, bracing for an argument, but no.
These tins are roughly half the price of the "value" brands at 16p-ish .

I went along to Asda today to see if I could get some but there was no sign of the offer at all. All John West tuna priced as normal on the shelves. Took one of them to be scanned but it came up as the normal shelf price, so I asked if they have just sold out, or were going to get it, but the manager at Asda had no knowledge of this offer at all, either having been on or going to be on. Guess it's not nationwide then

that's a few unhappy cats here then 'cos I'd promised them tuna for their tea:rotfl:0 -

Thats what I thought, re the price but they were dated June 2008.
Sorry to all of you who went on a wild goose chase, the pack is marked " Special 6 Pack" and bar code is 5 000171033871 > Maybe a loss leader that is regional? This was in Huddersfield.
Will ask when I go again, tempted to try to get a cyberhome dvd recorder for £59 which now equates more to the US price of $99. £89 was obviously a try on. Other posts say this is a Superstore offer only. Pudsey is nearest to me.
