Land of Leather-Immediate Delivery=7weeks

Don't order a patio table set from Land of Leather unless you want to wait until the summer is over before you get it!

I ordered a 'Paris Garden Set' (patio table, chairs, brolly & cushions) from land of Leather on-line last week. £399+£29 delivery. The ad in the national press stated immediate delivery. I phoned them to check the delivery time and I was told (rather rudely) that delivery would be in approx 7 weeks! When I complained I was told that the ad was probably correct at the time, but now (two days later) delivery is 7 weeks. I cancelled the order and am awaiting refund of my deposit.

One week later, L of L are again advertising the table with 'immediate delivery'.. They know that they do not have any in stock, so why are they doing this?

I have since bought the exact same patio elsewhere for the same price.

Send a e-mail to the Advertising Standards Authority these fools have been getting away with stuff like this for too long

I`ve been told that L of L are in trouble & it won`t be long before they go under.My sister works in the upholstery trade, she told me,also read about it somewhere else.Hope you get your stuff or at least your money back.

That seems a lot of money for garden chairs.

Have now recieved refund of deposit from L of L.

My delivery from other supplier is expected this afternoon.
With regards to it being a lot of money, I thought it was quite a good deal. The set comprises of extending hardwood table, 6 reclining chairs with arms. 6 full cushions (seat and back), matching brolly.

Just hope we get some sun so that we can use it!!
