Annoying Phone Calls!!

Options
Just want to say 'HELLO' to everyone here in this part of the Forum!

To cut things short Yeah in Debt, Lost my Job with Marconi like 1000's of others, in new job paying back debts with CCCS (Excellent service and totally FREE)

But Phone calls are a bloody joke now!

What I have done

Got.....

CALLER DISPLAY!

Got

Anonymous Call Reject! (Withheld numbers can not get through!) :j :j

And now just got

Choose to Refuse!

Now when some sad chap wanting even more money from me at stupid hours I put in a code in my phone and he can no longer phone me on a Saturday Morning, when I am in need of that much needed sleep and rest!

If you are getting bad phone calls these services come with a small charge but in my view and experiance well worth the peace and quite!

here is the link

Hope this will help some of you and get much needed sleep! as it has done with me!

Regards

K. ;);););)

If its that bad I would have thought it was easier to change your phone number or switch providers.

You are correct but sometimes they work around this service.

Thanks for highlighting these services. I use CLI to screen calls, and would advise anyone who is concerned about nuisance calls to do the same. The good part is that a CLI unit can cost as little as a fiver and there are no ongoing charges. The other two services you mention I was not aware of, despite having worked in a call centre related industry, however the cost of nearly £90 per annum for both seems a little steep to me.

You can have this service for one month at time it aint a 12 month contract.

But thinking cheaper still is to lose my home number keep the landline (for internet) and just use my mobile for calls (that aint registered)

Best Mobile Pay as you go deal I have found is 'o2'

I pay £10 a month get 300 free Texts and currently getting 50 mins any network calls for free as well.

Hope this helps some of you?
