MBNA Credit Card Charges - Help Required

in Credit cards
Hi
I've recently been in contact with MBNA about charges which I believe are unfair and could do with some advice.
Basically I was on one of their recent 0% cheque deals but a monthly payment went through one day late. This resulted in a 12 late fee which then took my account over the credit limit, causing a further fee and the 0% ending. Since my complaint about the lack of common sense in this I have been charged interest on around 6k since trying to re-instate their 0%. They decline to do this and as a result i pay back the balance and never hold an account with them again.
Is it worth preceding, what could I get out it bearing in mind the recent charges case?
Any info would be very grateful.
Cheers

Your best chance of 0% reinstatement is to speak with customer loyalty on 0800 783 1116 (Mon-Fri office hours?). I wouldn't push for the £12 over limit/late payment fee...at least not until after you secure the 0% reinstatement.
Offering to set up a minimum payment DD - after all, it's only £5-25 (depending on your T&C's) - may help your cause.
BTW, don't use your "common sense" argument with them, because they might point out you didn't use much yourself by paying late in the first place. After all, since there are 28 days between your statement date and your payment due date there's really no excuse for being "one day late"...especially when all they want is £5-25.
As an aside, it looks like you've also been spending on the card since BT'ing to it. That's generally a no-no with credit cards with unequal promotion end dates.0
